I made a tardis quilt (from Dr Who) for my son in law. He liked it. I bound it in a star fabric. I quilted it in all over swirls. I enjoy making these quilts that are more graphic and less complicated in piecing. I think I have my plan for 2015 personal quilt projects. I am feeling the pull of Gwen Marsten’s style.

I made these pillow shams for my sister for Christmas. I love how these went together. I made these blocks as a test for Quiltmaker 100 magazine. I used my serger and felt like I put all of my sewing skills to the test for this… hems, quilting, piecing etc. I am thrilled that she liked it because I wasn’t sure.
