I saw two tutorials on Instagram for making these adorable pumpkins. I thought they looked like something I could easily do on a Sunday afternoon!
Here is the tutorial I saw first:
Andrea references this account so I go watch that one, too!
I didn’t have any paint pens or watercolor paint that mixes up for orange so I used what I had on hand, acrylic paint. I started by painting, mixing and painting more circles!

I let the dry and then I used a fine point sharpie until it dried up and then I got a Micron pen size 5 for the ribs and stems.

I see more tutorials on both of these accounts, and I am going to try to make more! What fun little exercises in painting, mixing colors and then adding ink details! It really is something you should try! I want to get a watercolor sketch book since this was the last page of watercolor paper I have for these types of practice projects.
I never thought I would enjoy painting or mixed media but I sure do. Its really relaxing and fun! I would encourage you to try it out!
