I found some pretty silk fabric cut to the size of scarved in my stash. It was warm in the office, and I wanted to wear a lightweight scarf over the past couple of weeks. I remembered making scarves in the past and remembered how by watching this video I made a few years ago. I sewed two seams and closed the final seam by hand in a matter of minutes! Key is to sew the length of the scarf leaving the 3 inches at each end, that allows you to sew the short ends together as a flat seam and the gap to close is on the long end of the scarf.

This fabric was in the stash that I inherited after my friend passed so I have no idea where it came from, but I love it and will remember her when I wear it!
