Make it Monday

I started out with cutting up small Cutie Oranges from Costco

I placed them on parchment paper lined cookie sheet. I put them in the oven at 200 degrees F for 3 hours.

I took them off the parchment paper after they cooled. Some browned and that was the thinner sliced ones but they will still smell good!

We then foraged in the woods as well as family member’s yards to get greens. I wanted long needle pine, short needle/blue pine and cedar to make a scented display. And here is the final result!

For the cutie orange in the centerpiece, I added whole cloves. I pierced the thinner skin with an object then pushed the clove into the orange in a circular pattern. I will dry out and last for months as a lovely smelling pomander!

The house smells lovely! I am going to string remaining orange slices into a garland for my little tree! I will share that later this week.

Easy to make and the results are lovely old-fashioned decorations!
