It’s that time of year where everything seems to be all up and down. You wake up to cold clear mornings of 9 degrees. Its really cold but as the sun rises it warms up the temps and then you have a 45 degree afternoon! I have felt that the sun has brought a nice energy to my daily routine. I enjoy it streaming through the windows and I can see the snow melting. I see more birds and squirrels at the feeder and it seems that spring is really not that far off. A couple of weeks ago it was so cold and snowy , I felt like spring was months away.

I have been adding a little more movement and trying to fit the exercise program in each day. I have not really found a time of day that is best but I am going to keep working on it. I feel like my routine needs a big overhaul to fit in all the things I need to do a day. It’s coming around. I don’t know how I used to fit all the things in each day that I used to do. I can’t rush around like that any more.

I am looking forward to seeing a play tonight that is called Alice by Heart. It will be a nice change of pace. I expect it to be wonderful. We will travel to see the play, spend the night and come back tomorrow.

I have put together a quilt of blocks I found from a past BOM. I want to quilt it this week. I have the petie four quilt blocks done and I am assembling the rows. I have been working on the Cat in my Halloween cross stitch which means that the last element is the moon. Lots of knitting on my wrap, too. A little each day adds up!

I took a little time this week to check out our re opened Hobby Lobby! It’s much bigger and it was like a spring party. So many people shopping, laughing, and leisurely shopping because we couldn’t find anything, and it was all a new experience. We haven’t had a store in nearly 2 years since the tornado rolled through and destroyed it as well as parts of the town. So good to have things getting rebuilt.

Have a great weekend!

Vicki
