Saturday Morning Coffee

I have been working on Operation Let it go this week. I have been sorting and cleaning out closets and dresser drawers to prepare for the spring haul it to the curb day. I drank two cups of coffee this morning and then dug right into cleaning up and adding items to the staging area of things to let go.

I realized after I took a shower that I haven’t done my blog post. I guess that is what happens when you sleep in and spring cleaning fever hits you! It is going to rain all weekend with some severe thunder storms tonight, so it is a nice weekend to putter around the house.

I have been so happy with the projects I am working on I have been planning more instant gratification types of projects. EPP hexies are almost instant gratification because each flower doesn’t take long and it is complete. I need more glue gun glue because I want to make more glass succulents. Here is my trial run of that project that I did earlier this week:

I had a lovely lunch with a friend at my local Mexican restaurant. She brought my fused glass charms out of the kiln and ready to wear as a necklace! I was so excited for both. I haven’t seen her for a chat for several months.

I am combing through the class schedule to see when I can take another class! Here is the spring schedule: https://myemail-api.constantcontact.com/Spring-2024-Classes-at-the-Studio-.html?soid=1140102051324&aid=5ip5jG5wEZE

I am typically not looking forward to getting groceries but today I am looking forward to getting some fresh veggies and food that is on the eating plan. It has been a good week for eating on plan but now I need to make some changes to be able to lose a couple pounds and keep the ball rolling. I see my doctor in a couple of weeks and I really want to have improvements show up on the blood work. It feels like it should be better than the data I have to look at from home so maybe it will show improvements.

Have a great weekend!

Vicki
