I have been enjoying summer this week. It warmed up, it rained and it has been great for the plants to grow. I have a large amount of peonies, poppies, iris and columbine blooming. New blooms are starting on my yucca plants and geraniums. I do enjoy flowers so much.

I have been knitting a lot on my Wrap it up! Shawl. I am over halfway. It is a great Zen project to knit after work when I am tired. It is always a puzzle how to put it on and I have to watch the video 75% of the time. I will have it done by fall I am sure!

I am currently sewing the second clue to the Spooky and Sweet mystery quilt by Fat Quarter shop. There is one more week left for this quilt and I wonder what the layout is going to be! Mystery quilts can be such fun and part of it is the surprise on what it is going to look like in the final layout.

Silk and Sonder journal theme this month is Thrive. I have really been leaning in to what that means and how to live when you’re thriving. I have decided that it is what I want. I have been thriving and I love life when I feel this way.

A quiet weekend at home planned.
