This week I was able to slowly get back to work. I saw 2 doctors for routine appts and had a couple of med tweaks and changes. I feel like my long Covid is starting to calm down and with the new program I expect to be doing even better soon.
It was Halloween!! The rain cleared off in time for those out doing Trick or Treating which was amazing. Watched the Peanuts Halloween special as per tradition and I was able to finish my Happy Haunting Cross Stitch.

I finished my Lori Holt granny circle pillow cover! I was home ill watching the second half of one of the Lord of the Rings movies extended cut. I have the last movie to watch this fall then start the Harry Potter Series for winter. Something I have never done but feel it’s a great new items to add to my traditions.

I long armed a row of a friend’s William Morris applique quilt, its so gorgeous! Wait till you see it finished!

The special treat is that Fat Quarter Shop sent me the Prairie Home book by Lori Holt to review for the podcast and social media. Its amazing! I have several projects to keep me going to a long time already picked out from this book!
I am really happy that the local quilt shop started a Lori Holt club monthly from 12 -2 on a Wed. I can go for an hour because of work schedule. Its a great place to connect and get help on some of the issues I am having trying to tackle skills needed for Lori Holt projects! And you know what one I am talking about, stitchy stars! Lower left two block are a huge thumbs down! Need professional advice on them!

I have a guild meeting this week so I am motivated to get a few things done for the guild like the Christmas quilt to for the December party. They are top secret lols. I need to make placemats for the guild and I may have my apple top nearly assembled to do for show and tell.
I am so excited I am a Silk + Sonder affiliate! Novembers journal is joy! I am loving this theme, and it is perfect to start cultivating joy now through the rest of the year! My link is in the side bar, just click the button!
Sun is up and shining bright! I feel energized to get this day started!
