I went to a Highland game last weekend and it was so hot. Heat warnings and yet the festival went on, it wasn’t unbearable until it hit 95 at 3pm. My husband got a second place in his age group! We had a lot of fun and then we were able to see our son in a play on Sunday! Wonderful weekend!

This week I have been cross stitching like mad! I am in the final push to finish my Stardust cross stitch, I have the frame already so I will have it in its final finish state and on display soon!

I hope to be able to get my quilt along blocks sewn this weekend and then start the final assembly. I am always excited to finish a project so I can start another one! This is such a pretty quilt.

This weekend we have to empty out storage unit. We have a deadline July 1 because the unit we have is being repaired. We wanted to get out of the unit this month but with the heat and then rain on our days off it has been a challenge. Now we are down to the deadline and we have to be out. The weather has a few moments with chances of rain but I think we can get it done and moved out in good weather. I hate being at the deadline and all the pressure but it is what it is. I am not going to be able to lift much because my back has been hurting but I am going to drive a car and maybe help shuffle a few things.

There is a wedding and BBQ I could attend this weekend also. Too many things lol. I will have to see how I feel after all the moving of stuff from storage. I will only do as much as my body allows.

I am hoping to get the work all done on time and then I am looking forward to a short work week then a Michigan based vacation the week after the 4th.
