Today I am in Illinois at a cool establishment called Hot Rod Nellie’s at a fundraiser for Relay for Life. If you are near Pecatonica Illinois stop by and check out the silent auction. I have two wall hanging sizes quilt here and I hope they make some money for the cause . The Highland games athletes will be throwing a game at the venue which is a our summer/fall games season.

As a cancer survivor I have come to appreciate all that my treatment team did for me. I appreciate the support my family , friends and community did for me. I also had support thru the cancer society to help me as I Lost much of my hair and had skin problems from the surgery and treatments. The mental boost from everyone was fantastic as well as helpful.

For those not in the area you could donate to Relay for life, the American cancer society or any other wonderful group out there! Donations can be made online.

We did a lovely drive here thru the Upper Peninsula , South thru Wisconsin and saw places I haven’t seen in 30 years. Love those cream brick farmhouses in Wisconsin!

We have plans to stop at Primitive Gatherings in Larsen, Wisconsin on Monday. I am so excited!
