It was pretty cold last night and the temperature this morning was 27 degrees with a dusting of snow. I have been not believing the snow in the forecast because I didn’t want to be in the late fall/winter. But it didn’t matter if it snowed or not. The day light hours have diminished, the sun is weak when it does shine and I have entered the fall whether I wanted to or not!
I spent this week doing crochet after work. I am making my mass of granny squares. I also made a towel topper for a friend to asked about wanting some for their mother. I had never made one before but watched a video with a free pattern and made one topper. I have a few ideas on modifications for the next towel but I think these are what she wants. Now to find a button!
I have sewn two blocks for my Sew Happy Lori Holt quilt from the World of Lori Holt II. Ugh the worst pattern but the cutest quilt. I am going slow on this because deciphering the pattern takes longer that sewing the blocks!

I am loving the quilt and I love Lori Holt patterns published by Its so Emma!
I decided to go to a new studio in town that is going to do acrylic painting. I think it will be like sip and paint place and maybe a place in the future to paint greenware and make air clay items. I went to the open house and I was the only customer to show up. I had a canvas and no idea what to paint so I just put colors on the canvas and then added one of my doodle hands to complete the piece!

Today I am going to a Southern Rock concert of 38 Special and Molly Hatchet. I am looking forward to it and having a nice outing.
I have been really working on Gratitude this month. I am so thankful for this space to write, dream and share with you all that I have been doing. I continue to write to keep track of my projects and progress but I hope that there are things you can learn from and explore as well!
