This is the most precious block! I had the hardest time sewing it and I made a big goof that.lead to a design decision.

I was very ill last week with the norovirus. It set me back and I got a little behind in everything. I tried to see this block several times this week but I kept making mistake. I threw the center broken dishes block away because I used the wrong colors in places. Them I finally got it right and I trimmed the block too small. I couldn’t try seeing again to I sewed a little gree frame around it.

It’s imperfect but I am keeping it lost points and all. Sometimes you just gotta go with what the sewing forces give you and today was not the day to try again.

In the whole quilt, this block will be wonderful as is. I am keeping and remembering that sometimes imperfect is just fine.
