This week was a little tiny center snail trail 4 in block. You can see in the photo that I have been using foundation paper piecing pads for my blocks. I do love these pre printed pads from It’s so Emma. The paper is thin and easy to tear off once you are finished . In addition there are directions on how to sew the block.

This block has a little trick that you need to know before you start. The center has a little 4 patch that needs to be traditionally pieced then centered on the paper. And follow the tiny suggestion …. Pay attention to color placement. I messed up my first block and didn’t catch until the end. Oops!
I love the flying geese paper for my sharp points on my star!

and with Angel’s lovely pattern, I have a block !

I love this scrappy quilt and I am going to start putting the blocks on my design wall for the next post!
