I can’t believe that the storm from last weekend had a part two and dump at least 2 maybe 3 feet of snow! I worked from home several days and it took my husband a couple of days to blow out the driveway and get my car out of the snow and ice. I was feeling a little anxious about all the ice we received along side of the snow. It has been a year since the historic ice storm we had. The power grid needed to be restored last year and I wasn’t sure it would be ok.

I was happy to have several craft project to choose from because it was a stay home and wait it out. We didn’t lose power , I was relieved, and by Wednesday life was back to normal.

i worked on the Fantabulous Scrappy Stars Quilt and I have all of the strippy sashing made. We have one block left in the quilt along and then assembly! Angel at Halo Inspirations did a great job on designing this quilt! I am really happy with how this is looking !

I also cross stitched.

I crocheted and watch a lot of Michigan basketball.

I have tried to do some exercise when I could. And when the weather broke I went for some walks and exercise for my legs. Wow my heels are very sore but I am hoping with ice and a little rest they will be back to normal so I can walk outside more. It’s in the 40s now and melting the snow is slowly happening. I say yes to that!!

I have been watching some gardening shows and dreaming of warmer weather. I have some zinnia seeds sprouting but have my doubts they will survive to plant out.

I have also progressed on my Scrappy spools quilt on the frame. I am halfway done!

Finishes are the projects of the season! And boy do I have things to finish!
