I love this pattern on the plates at the Chinese restaurant we ate at tonight. It was after a long day of sport. I really enjoy the blue/white combo and think that this willow pattern is very pretty.
We spent today at a wrestling tournament. Our son had 5 matches and then he spent time with some friends. Then the norovirus hit and the 72 miles home was a 2 hour trip with several unexpected stops.
But, before the bug hit and after the tournament, I stopped at a Joann’s. I bought fabric for a quilt I want to finish and maybe get it done in time to enter a quilt show. I really haven’t bought fabric like that in a long time.
I also was given a challenge project. A quilted star was salvaged and cut out of a worn out quilt. I was asked if there was a way to put this into a lap quilt to save it for sentimental value. I am going to think about it because I want to be able to save it for her as it was on her bed as a child.
Tomorrow is a day to catch up on chores, quilting and getting some groceries before the Super Bowl. I refuse to say “big game.”
Vicki

oh the dreaded norovirus!! (I had it during a shopping trip in December!)
Love that you don’t call it the “big game”. I always wondered what would make it bigger than any other game??
