My friend Carol made this lovely star quilt. It is the perfect combo of a great focus fabric, a big contrast with the black and pop of color with the batiks.  I was thinking about using a light colored thread but then I pulled out the purple and that was it!

I made a flower and spiral pattern. I love how the purple stands out but doesnt litter the stars.  It turned out to be a sweet quilt! Sucha great project to be a part of.
