I am posting daily to my Instagram feed for the daily prompt challenge as well as the Facebook Group My Creative Corner3.

The next two pictures are of the first three prompts. The daily prompts are to help jump start you in being creative. I do find the more I practice doing creative things the more ideas I get. I believe that doing something creative daily is important for balance in life and in the mind.

 

These two blocks are from the National Quilters Circle challenge. It comes out weekly on Thursday for 9 weeks. It is 16 inch blocks and I am using a fat quarter bundle that I won . It is really pretty and working out well. Hope the bundle will make it for 9 blocks.

The top block here is my wonky star from the Daily prompt challenge. I used mini charms ans lime thr points the same color. The bottom block is from Pat Sloan’s Solstice challenge half sized.

This is the final block of a UFO that was a BOM called Constellation of Stars. I finally got it to work after several years of trying, maybe 6 years. I have time to try to get the top together…… after I peel off all the papers.

Here is very pretty quilt that I got off the frame this week. I love the colors so much , my favorite combos. I did an all over curl. It is quite a technically difficult quilt to piece and I love the over sized nosegay in the center. Beautiful!!

Lastly, I finished this little quilt this week. I love all the leaves but I wound up burying a million threads. So now I think It is done. It has a gold/copper thread and some swirls at the bottom to represent yoga.

 

I did iron another quilt and getting read to load it on the frame tonight. I am really trying to get moving on some of my projects this winter before the Highland games start this summer  and the garden needs to be addressed. I wanna just get a bulldozer really and start again!
