Today machine quilting stitch is feathers and they are as easy as 1,2,3! First you stitch your spine, then work back with a feather shape to the end and then work you way back on the bottom row across. I try to make my feather more of a half of a heart shape.

Your feathers are beautiful! I have done some but not nearly as smooth as yours. Drawing it out on paper first always helps me, too.

I must confess I have a long arm and I have made many feathers. The more I practice the better they get!
