Did you know I used to have a blog on a different host? In fact I had 2 previous hosts before WordPress. I love blogging and I thought it would be fun to go into a time machine and look back at a post that I wrote a few years or 5 ago, or more, to see what I was doing then and chuckle at how dated my posts are and if the pictures are still there lol! My have my tastes changed and my skills have grown , too. I don’t think I have changed much but my hair may have! I will put a link at the end for you to go to the original 2009 post and see it in all its glory!

I had the best of Christmases this year! We are currently on a staycation this week. We had some fun yesterday and went to a IMAX LIKE theater and watched the newest Star Wars movie. It was really inexpensive for a matinee which made me happy.  I really enjoyed it. I have several more days off and most of them are low key days. We are planning a hockey game and visiting with family tomorrow. I will work on quilting again over the weekend and next week will be quilt work days.

I have been working on yarn crafts this week because my long arm machine and sewing make so much noise. Plus I want to visit with my family while they are here.  I made a chemo hat for donation yesterday. Watch for the podcast and announcement about how you could donate a hat, too,  after the first of the year. I also jumped on the granny stripe blanket bandwagon while on this staycation.
