I am sitting in an airport terminal preparing for a solo trip to see my daughter and grandkids. It’s 2 hours on a flight and about triple that at airports but it would take me 2 days to drive. I am looking forward to a week of hanging out, making things and checking a few art themed places out. I am also looking at going to a new quilt shop , too !

This week I have been in work and prep mode. Lots of laundry and packing my carry on. I did squeeze it all in. I was determined to not check a bag and pay extra!! I can do laundry mid week! I am traveling light but with all I need.

I avoided any exposure to sick people so this would be a good vacation! I have all the coverage people prepped at work and no work phone or computer , yesssssss!

I did get another quilt longarmedby its deadline and delivered. I have been stitching a new summer memories cross stitch and it’s in my bag to finish this week in between adventures.

I know it’s been 90 in Michigan but nothing compares to 90 in the south in July!
