It’s still morning, barely, lol. I totally forgot about the blog first thing this morning. I was focused on getting a few chores done after sleeping in late. It threw my routine off a little! I started playing around with my plants and setting up a couple of things for the fairy garden after doing the chores.
The whole idea of the fairy garden is to build one over time so I have a year-round fairy garden I can enjoy. I bought some mushroom lights and some circle trellis for 3 plants. It has a way to go before it is finished but I will keep adding to it and rearranging the little vignettes. I still plan to do a little fairy garden outside, but it may not be as big as in the past. I haven’t figured an outside fairy garden yet. I have some time to think about it.

Today is sunny and we haven’t had sunny weather in a few weeks. I hope to soak up some sun this afternoon on a little walk. We may go for a ride in the country to look for Elk and take a few pictures. It’s also going to be in the 40s, so it is melting the snow quickly. It’s nice to have a bit of a break!
I hope to start a Valentine’s wall hanging this month. I have been looking at several free patterns and I really like this little one. It is perfect for a door.

I hope you have a great weekend!
Vicki
I saw the forecast and atmospheric rivers sound like a lot if rain! I hope you don’t have flooding. I am very lucky to have a rather large patch of land in my little town. My dad had lots of good soil brought in for a garden and it grows very nicely. I am thinking of making fairgardens outside in pots with annuals near my porch this year. I have lots of ideas !!

You must have needed the extra hibernation time! Hope you can get out for the nature drive. You are so lucky to have that in your own “backyard “. The fairy garden with lights mixed in with your plants looks great! How fun! I would keep going on that!
We are all sandbagged and ready for a royal drenching this week. Complaining about rain in Southern California is not allowed! But I really hope the hype is worse than the reality.
Stay safe and warm!
