My week ended with a slow day at work. It was horrifically busy the previous part of the week, and I am a little tired from all the work! On the slow day, we had no internet for the morning and I was able to recuperate by doing a therapeutic activity. I had to decorate the wellness board.

I found my paper bag Gingerbread houses and the garland of gingerbread houses on paint chips. I had some snowflakes and my coworker had the paper chains and ribbon. Instant themed holiday bulletin board!
After work I was able to record a podcast about all I am proud of and thankful for. You an listen here if you click the link:
I am resting up today as much as I can because I have family Thanksgiving tomorrow and that will be a long day of driving to a from. But today, I am resting and then taking a soap making class. It is the last class I signed up for the fall months. I don’t think I will be taking more classes until winter is over because of the drive to get to the studio. Snow has fallen but I think has melted so my trip today should be easy.

Did you see the post for the next quilt along block? Here is where you can read about it: https://mycreativecorner3.com/2025/11/18/fantabulous-scrappy-star-7/
I think the holiday season is here. Everyone is putting up their decorations for Christmas in time for Thanksgiving these days. I did get my office at work decorated. I will slowly bring out the Christmas decorations at home. I am not ready to be immersed in Christmas.
I am ready to get my fall cozy going. I am under a quilt typing the blog. I am going to light a candle for the warm glow in the cold dark house. I am embracing Hygge for the winter. I am also starting to read a book : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/48930354-niksen
It is book about the Dutch art of doing nothing. I need to remember how to do this. The next book I want to read is about Swedish Fikka. Swedish counterpart of hygge is lagom and Fikka is about a daily ritual of a coffee break. I know I am going to love fikka!
I am off to get my coffee and start my day. I am going to linger in my pjs this morning and write in my gratitude journal, hygge at its best.
