I have been working on Zentangles this week. I have a class next week and I hope to find ways to keep improving. I like drawing on tiles and tile sized areas. I don’t like drawing on larger areas or adding color. I like the inspiration for quilting that doodling provides. I also like the abstract nature of the art.

I am finishing up things. Mom and I each finished our top for each of the grandbabies on the way. I will quilt them once the batting gets here. I have my Quiltmaker blocks nearly finished (I am behind due to a machine break down). I am now ready to start sewing some blocks for a new quilt pattern.

Ahhh, fresh beginnings. It is a good feeling.
