I spent the morning cleaning. I spend the afternoon taking in the sights on a drive along the Lake Michigan shoreline with my husband. I have to say that the cool weather at night is confusing the trees and some have a bit of color starting on the leaves. I didn’t take many pictures but I did take a few when we stopped. We bought blueberry popcorn and fudge. We made a little friend.

I also worked on a deadline test block for Quiltmaker magazine. I am not in my wheelhouse on this block. Applique and camping. Both are a big challenge for me. To have fun, or to cleanse the palette, I am trying my hand a making some pendants. I am not sure if this glue will work but here is the first try. I also am working on a tatted bookmark. That’s labor intensive and needs a time limit too.
