It is amazing to me the little things that can drive me nuts when I am around people. Things that are normal behaviors, not just of over the top self centered kind of stuff. There are times that I find the very things that I like about a person can at other times drive me nuts!

for example:

leaving drawers and cupboard doors open

throwing things in a pile and not trying to find a place for it

trivia at times

waiting in line, waiting for people to be ready, waiting for appointments

“browsy

excuses -just say that your late, or that you couldn’t possible get up on time not things like my dog got sprayed by a skunk or I had to buy you flowers on the way to work. Yes I have heard both and both were true statements.

technology bogging down or crashing

technology itself

people who don’t drive like me

taking advantage of a position of power or authority to get what you want

manipulation of all types

talking over me

playing your technology loudly  over mine

taking the last of something and not letting others know

 

I guess it boils down to three things my grandma used to say :

1. If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything at all

2. Treat others as you well as you would like to be treated (or better for those with poor self esteem)

3. Take a deep breath, count to ten and walk away if needed

 

Lets laugh at this because we all do things that drive other human beings nuts. What are some of your pet peeves?
