My Mom pieced this quilt. Last year. I was so far behind, then it got worse over the summer, then I was on vacation. So I got it done yesterday! I have two more of her quilts here but this one waited the longest. I love this Moda collection and it is a disappearing 9 patch. I decided to try something a bit different. Mom will be ok with that, right? I love how it turned out. I did a mashup of feathers, hearts, leave and spirals heavily in the outer borders. Then I did hook feathers with fillers in the gaps in the center where the d9p is.
