I am so excited to share with you the blocks I tested for this issue of Quiltmaker 100 block magazine. I have been testing blocks for 3 volumes and the ideas are so fresh each issue! I am happy to say that the directions are easy to follow and the blocks are gorgeous when completed. I hope that you enjoy this magazine, it goes on the news stands this week!!!

The first block is Corkscrew by M. Corey on page 36. It is really a fun block with many possibilities. You will have to see the magazine for ideas on making a quilt with this block. I love how fast it went together and a it uses Quiltmaker’s Fast Flying Geese method that is explained in the magazine. So pretty.

The second block is E. Dackson on page 28. It is really a fun pinwheel block called Whirl around. I love the movement in this block. It is foundation pieced and a snap to make. It love paper piecing and get very excited when they are on my list to test.
