This is a block called Diamond Pinwheels by S. Nelson on page 30 of this current of Quiltmaker 100 Block Magazine. This block is a very cool elongated pinwheel that will make a really nice elongated pinwheel with the corner pieces. I think this would be a fun full sized quilt.

This block is a very pretty star block called Sea Glitz by R. Sillbaugh. I love the sparkle it has and the points are very interesting with the pieced triangles. It went together very smoothly.
