Welcome to the weekly edition of Our Creative Souls! This is the post where my sister, Nancy , and I share about our weekly adventure in creating. We are Michigan natives and I found this photo of when we were little vacationing on Lake Michigan. Love the lighthouse in the background!
This week we have been doing many spring related activities. Here is a little video to show what we have been doing:
What have we been making? Well lots of amazing things. First, is a making mushrooms for fairy gardens and wait till we show you some of the gardens we have been working on next week! The weather is nice where Nancy lives and she has been gardening! Vicki is still waiting for the snow to melt, so she has been knitting while she waits! Click on the links during this post as we chat about our projects and you can get ideas on where we got inspiration to make our own projects.
Vicki has been sewing instant gratification projects in between her quilting. See the cute little cell phone/tablet holder that has little ribbons to hold Wonder Clips and a few pins! It is a quick and very practical project that has been super handy. She has also been doodling and tangling (Zentangle) up a storm. Gel pens, micron pens are used in the these projects.
Notice the photo with all the baby plants growing on the porch! Pssss, we never put our snow shovels away till June in Michigan! Nancy made the concrete planters last year using a deflatable exerise ball in the middle. They are so cool and the flowers did very well in them!
We will continue to create this wee and it is sure to be spring time inspired.
We hope this has encouraged you to be creative!
