Saturday Morning Coffee

Today I have very little to say. It is 11 am and I have had my coffee and I am now working on my water intake on this very, very hot day. I went for a walk already and cleaned up the house. Life has become very slow, very simple and very small. It is what I have always dreamed of actually. I do miss traveling to see the family during the warmer months but the pandemic has forced us to look at the risks and we have all decided it isn’t the time yet. I have been shopping online and my husband does most of the grocery shopping for us.

I have to say that overall I have been doing very well considering. I can see that retirement isn’t anything to be afraid of based on how the pandemic has gone with our household. I am concerned about the current state of our community and how we will all weather 2020. I don’t plan to be out where lots of people are because it isn’t the time yet to be out in the world. Plus consider the following photo that I posted on Facebook.

Denial isn’t just a river in Egypt people !
