We got snow!

Snow has not been on the forefront of my mind this winter because I don’t have to baja through a snow bank left by the plows, to get to work in the morning by 830 am. The plows keep filling in the end of the driveway all day long when we get a bunch of snow overnight. I really do like working from home so I don’t have to deal with busting out of the driveway, always with the potential to get stuck, but I know it won’t last forever.

I do know that it has been a warmer winter with less snow. I looked it up this morning. We have only had 44 inches of snow this winter. Half of our usual snowfall ! Wow. I do have to say we got 8 inches of snow last night so there is lots of snow removal activity in the neighborhood this morning. I have been lulled by these kinds of winters before and lived through the 60 inches of snow in February, without a snow blower I must add. Lots of time for our “average ” amount of snowfall to come in the remaining months of winter.

Outside of a very busy work day, I need to get a quilt bound then photographed this weekend between heavy snow fall that’s predicted. I have better brushes for acrylic painting and I may try to paint again this weekend. A very average January weekend with a bunch of snow forecasted. A weekend of hibernating a little. Yay, I have to say that’s fine with me!

Here is to a great Friday of clearing the desk off so I can start fresh on Monday!
