After finding the things we are taking to my daughter’s next week, today I am packed and ready for a little weeklong road trip vacation. I found Barbie’s, beanie babies, wedding and prom dressed and a few other things to go with us. I feel good about how little I really need to go through later as I have taken inventory on what is left in the storage/closets of my home. Winter always makes projects and problems a little bigger than they really are.
We are taking the weekend thru Monday and spending it in Tennessee. A nice little time to rest and get in vacation mode. We will continue to drive to Virginia and spend time with the family there. It will be a time of hanging out, going to the zoo if the weather is good and maybe sewing some journal covers with the girls. They want to sew more. I prepped the project into kits by precutting the covers, pre hemming the inside pockets and it will be easy to sew up on a short trip.
I expect that the weather will be nice a day or two, and we can get out for a little walk. I am hoping that we can get some photos and drone video to remember the trip by and most of all relax.
I am taking some cross stitch and slow stitching with me for the down times, and I will look forward to a week without snow flurries even if the sunshine is brief. I am sure we will see some green leaves and maybe some flowers, none of that has started here at home.
For a little fun I did the Wellness bulletin board at work, I hear if it is deemed the “winner” of the offices I can win $50 and get put in a drawing for $100! I found this pretty cool printable on Etsy and this is my take on it.

Happy Easter and hope you get to have a little Spring Break too,
Vicki
hi! Unfortunately the items were hand cut by me! Next time I do a board I am using my cricut! This was kind of last min to be in compliance with needing a board done by the office so I hand cut everything! Lol

The wellness board looks great! Did you use your Cricut? Have a wonderful time on your trip! I hope it’s everything you want it to be. I’m sure it will do your Grandma heart good.🩷
