Another cold frosty morning. It’s 28 degrees. It snowed but didn’t stick yesterday. The sun is starting to shine so maybe it will warm up and the flowers will grow.
It’s a back to work week after vacation. It’s was long because I was having problems switching gears back to reality and because my balance continues to be off a little. It’s getting better but not cured yet.
i have been working on my colorwash blocks for a swap at the end of the month. I have 70 more to make and if I do three a day I will be on target!

I have an improv class to teach at quilt guild Tuesday. I haven’t taught a class in a long time but I do enjoy it. I want to make two more of the wonky log cabins for the class sample

I have been working on hand work and crochet in the evening. Next week is the week long Making Zen workshop and I am excited to keep the inspiration going for hand stitching.
Spring cleaning is happening and I am here for it. The house got a nice once over yesterday by a professional and it feels fantastic. The spring junk day is a week from today and that will get all of this years unwanted and broken items gone. The space is beginning to lighter , brighter and less crowded already.
I am supporting my local quilt shop by doing the M50 Happy go lucky mystery quilt. I purchased my mini fq bundle curated by the shop for the mystery. I had several to choose from. Clues are mid month. Here is the link:

if you wanted you could use scraps and it is free to do the mystery. My problem is when it’s a mystery you don’t know what’s the background , contrast etc. So I hope to have a great mini quilt in the end.
I am working on my quilt finishes! Another quilt is done and loading another soon. Always quilts to finish and bind around here !
The theme of my analog life project for may is whimsy. I am really enjoying this creator who spells it out perfectly! Time for fairy gardens and plants. I want to add more fun and lighthearted moments. The reel is great!
Be creative this week !
