Slow Living Sundays

Sundays are made for lingering over a coffee or two. Sitting outside to read a book. Tending the flower garden a little at a time. A short walk around the block.

It is also a day of laundry, grocery shopping and tidying up the house if needed.

Then settle into my favorite chair with handwork and let Sunday slowly melt into Monday.

This is how I plan to spend my day. A little practical work, a little chore, and a lot of making. My day is rarely planned out on a Sunday; I go where my energy takes me. I haven’t set up my whimsical garden things yet, and maybe I can start doing that today.

It’s a day to recharge my batteries and do things I enjoy.
