Today’s post is about the quilts I made or finished last year. When I get discouraged, it is good to look back and see how much I have accomplished and have met goals set for myself. In quilting, I have accomplished a ton. I had a quilt in a magazine and a show. I am working on original patterns. I a spare room that is going to get turned into my studio this year instead of being strung all over the house.
Personally, I am continuing to pursue health. I have weight to lose, exercise to do, work to get done and a house to organize this winter. I have a trip to Scotland planned in the fall if we can get the money together. Ending the year on a high note, my van can be fixed cheaply and my mother in law has a lead on an apartment- she has been temporarily staying with us. I have been on an at-home vacation over the holidays and spending it with my family has been a blessing. I miss seeing those who are out of state but maybe later in the year I can see them.
Here are the pictures of the quilts completed in 2013 for myself or quilted for others:

My goodness, you really did get a lot of quilting done. It’s quite an accomplishment to be published in a magazine. I have some of the same issues to face in the coming year…health and weight especially. I’m thinking seriously about getting a bicycle and planting a garden for the exercise. Happy New Year, and much success on your goals.
