I love testing blocks for Quiltmaker magazine. I have been part of testing blocks for three magazines now. It has helped me expand my skills and try blocks that I would have never tried before. I will post each block  that I tested. I was also chosen to make a quilt and it was published!! I am very excited. Magazine is currently for sale.

I love this paper pieced block. It was a really good block to start off with. It has everything I love: bold colors, solids and visual punch!  I did choose this one to be in my final quilt. Block 819 Rubik’s Star.

Other fun things I have been working on is clothes for the grand babies. Here a two items, I wish the internet, tutorials and free patterns were around when my kids were small. These items are recycled from large t shirt that no one wore any more. By the way, I am making 2 of everything because they grandbabies are twins! My garment making skills are not up to what my quilt making skills are but the clothes will be perfect for playing outside and everyday wear.
