Sunshine and clear air have been this week’s welcome change. I enjoyed every days gorgeous weather and cool nights for sleep. The garden is blooming with many different flowers with yellows purples and some white. I love the annual show of blooms each year.

I have been taking time this week to start to make my home more clear of clutter. I want it to be filled with items that are meaningful, useful , and of course beautiful!

My one inch art from postcards and mailers

I am doing a deep declutter of the sewing room. I need to make it more inviting to create in. It need a better organization plan to find things easily and just get rid of what I don’t need or want. It’s a slow process because I think I want everything! I don’t really. And I need to stop spending 20 or more min looking for something because I know I have it, somewhere.

My Walmart quilt themed items!

We have some larger furniture items to move to make room for creating in my husband’s space. It’s been months of decluttering and reorganizing with the final phase of moving furniture. It’s a job one must do a little at a time because it’s really draining mentally and it’s physically taxing. It never ceases to amaze me how much energy all those decisions take!

My commonplace journal of quotes and stickers

I have sentimental items in my crafting space, too, and I have some vintage cool items. Do I really need to keep it all is what I am asking myself. I am checking out some spaces around town that may be a place to sell things. I may be ready to dip my toes into that world in order to create space for what matters to me.

I have made so much progress and this is the final deep dive in my crafty space to get it a room of my things that I can use and find useful. A space of creating more of what matters to me.
